Oil on artist's canvas panel
Depicting a Quebec Nouvelle France rural house which is a total carry over from the old country in Normandy (before being adapted to the Canadian winter) with its «colombage pierroté», plaster covered, tall and steep roof, a central chimney to heat the house from the centre and no roof eaves.
