A continental round silver repoussé snuff box.
The front with c-scrolls and acanthus.
The hinged lid with a bending man grapping a net filled with (star algae ?);
a woman with a basket and a lobster in a Nordic landscape with lake and forests surrounded by c-scrolls, acanthus and trails of husks.
Underneath Charity nursing a child with 2 others at her feet.
According to standard iconography, the personification of Charity should be shown as a woman holding a child in her arm, who she nurses, an two others at her feet.
