André Hunebelle (French 1896-1985) studied Mathematics at the Ecole Polytechnique.
After the First World War, he began designing pressed glass inspired by the work of Rene Lalique and In 1927 he exhibited his first collection of glass.
Hunebelle opened a luxury shop in Paris which closed in 1938 and after the Second World War he left definitely the glass business and became a succefull art director and a film producer.
