Willem Hendriks Jr., son of an established Dutch artist Willem Hendriks Sr., was born in the Netherlands outside of Brussels.
He lived primarily in Holland, between La Haye and Voorburg, though he traveled to and spent significant time in the United States and Canada were his paintings were very popular
The artist occasionally signed his name with one of the following: Carel Verschuur, Willems, Cornelius Wouter Bouter.
