Harold Goldthwait was a predominantly landscape painter who travelled extensively throughout the southern counties of England to paint.
He exhibited widely, at the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the Goupil Gallery and the London Salon -London; Walker Art Gallery -Liverpool; the Royal Hibernian Academy -Dublin.
