The painting depicts the courtyard of traditional old timbered and thatched farmhouses, with children - one of them with sailor suit red beret and pompom - heads turned toward a vanishing point which seems to converge at the ocean; a work horse standing in front of a large bucket; a goose and a cat.
A steeple bell tower is sketched in the background.
